View of pagoda from the street right outside my hotel, the Higashiya Hotel, a ryokan (traditional inn). It was very convenient, 5 minute walk from the ferry. They do not have a dining room, so you have to eat in your own room. And those futon, way to thin, how do they sleep on them! Fortunately there was a whole cabbed of them, so half way during the night I figured out that I should stack up one more to make it a bit more comfortable.
